Innervation: Radial nerve
Branch: Posterior interosseous nerve
Function:
- Extension of metacarpophalangeal joints of fingers 2, 3, 4, 5.
- Assists in extension of interphalangeal joints of fingers 2, 3, 4, 5.
- Assists in abduction of fingers 2, 3, 4, 5.
- Assists in extension of the wrist.
